Plinto represents form, versatility, and nature. This collection of pedestals balances the stoicism of brushed brass with the functionality of the cylinder, elevating nature’s simple flora into unique and compelling micro landscapes.

Each pedestal has a slender opening to hold a dried flower, grass, leaf, or other natural element. Whether you have the set of eight or the one of 25, the pedestals enable you to capture an outdoor experience in a composition that reflects your interpretation of one of Mother Earth’s many stories.

Plinto is our tribute to nature’s little details. At ACdO, we use design to encourage appreciation of the delicate lines and unembellished beauty found in the world around us.

The pieces are presented in book format cases. The packaging of Plinto is of major importance to us. While using humble and honest materials, such as paper and cardboard, we wanted to develop a packaging that would be up to the standards of the product as well as to be coherent with its concept.

The book format allows it to be stored on shelves or in libraries and the pieces can be put away or taken out at any time.

We like the idea of permanence. We believe that packaging should not be thrown away. It should be a useful and beautiful object that completes and encloses the whole project.
